Has anyone emailed either company and found out which one really owns the rights to the technology?

Eazfix is at a later version which might mean its the real owner.

Actually none of the above. I asked that question of a Wilders member (pvsurfer) when he introduced me to Rollback Rx (in 2006) and I happen to have saved the pm he sent me in reply. At that time he informed me the original product was called InaQuick Rescue (IQR) and the technology was developed and patented by Andrew Shen, Eric Sun and Zhang Jian.

It's now marketed under the labels of AyRecovery, Eaz-Fix, and Rollback Rx.

Incorrect methinks...humbly! They are both marketing v8.1 of their respective 'products' and a quick review of the UI suggests that they are identical.;)

The inaquick website redirects to eazfix? So does that mean eazfix is the real owner or just paid more for redirection?

Does it really matter? - both EF and RB share the same support...

Yes, but i want to know if eazfix being better has anything to do with it owning it?

But if they are the same product and share the same support does it matter? On that basis the only relevant differentiator will be price.

Personally I use Rollabck Rx and am happy in doing so.

I sure don't know what makes you believe that EF is better than RB. :doubt:

Functionally, they are identical clones (with the only difference being the OEM brand-name on the software)!
