I just downloaded the program "Spider" off of the free tools section (http://www.wilders.org/free_tools.htm) and am wondering if its a good program? I got the beta which allows you to delete the files/hidden urls.. (http://www.fsm.nl/ward/index.html) well, I guess its not Spyware or anything, since it was on the tools section of this site, but just making sure :doubt:

Yes, it's safe and effective and spyware-free.

There are reports that it can cause flaky behavior (or be ineffective) on the later operating systems, though - so make sure you check the locations indicated to assure yourself that they've been properly cleaned, especially if you're an XP'er. Pete

I installed Spider on XP and it didn't work.
    It works on 98.
I installed it on a family member's computer.
Haven't had any problems with it so far.
