    I bet that in five years time PCs will still be around & many will still be custom built. A friend of mine, who custom-built my desktop PC, claims that he is making as many to order as he always has done.

    If I can do everything I want to do on it, then I don't care what we call it, I'll buy it. But until then, the desktop/laptop aren't dead....

    If I did buy a new PC, I would rip Win 7 or 8 off of it
    the first thing

    Oh wait, I did, Win 7 machine happily running a highly modified XP
    A lot more speed and bang for the buck
