OK I normally know what to do but not this time. AAW SE found a dll name zlib.dll and it claims that it a data miner from IWon. I never been to IWon and never downloaded anything from them. It claims to be in the programs/ AOL 9.0. I find this weird is it a false postive.

    zlib.dll -
Part of a programme that -
"...This is a quick & dirty utility that allows you to compress BMP images with gzip to obtain better compression that GIF images, and still use them as background for your desktop."

More info found here - http://www.gzip.org/zlib/

OK Thanks. It must be a FP on AdAware part. I also found an Iwon data miner in mozilla. LOL now that's funny. I need to let lavasoft know about this.

I think this thread would be better in the Privacy Software forum since it discusses the detection of the new AdAware SE.

    Thread moved to Privacy Software

Ad-Aware released a new program update today as well as a new ref file.

You could uninstall the old and install the new and see if you get the same results.
