The latest version for Win XP?

Hi, can you tell me the latest version of NOD32 for Win XP?
Perhaps is it v.2.51.20?

But it works with 32 bit too! I have just installed this NOD32 version and it works fine.

 

I may have asked this before, but can't remember the answer. If the 64 bit version is compatible with 32 bit machines, why continue to sell the 32 bit version?

 

NOD32 for 64 bit also contain drivers for 32 bit, but of course 64 bit version use others drivers.
In simply words setup include both drivers, but that doesn't mean that 64 bit is compatible with 32 bit.

 

The versions are not sold separately. Your license of NOD32 covers 32-bit as well as 64-bit Windows operating systems.

As for the question of why the 32-bit version is still available for download....

1)No reason
2)The 32-bit version is better optimized for 32-bit computers
3)The 32-bit version maintains compatibility on older operating systems (Windows 98/Me/NT/2000)
4)There are potential bugs with the 64-bit version on 32-bit computers.

The 32-bit version 2.50 hasn't been available for a week or two. See our download page, there's only v. 2.51.20.
