I have the latest build of Acronis TrueImage 8.0 and am running it on my WinXP. I am restoring the drive over my network and now, when it is checking the partition of my C drive (my only drive) after i choose that partition to restore my image to, it says "The image archive is corrupt". Unlike other posts, this isn't happening when i verify the images (my images are fine, because they passed the verification test). Why is this happening? Is there a way i can rebuild the image archive?

    Hello doidesimal,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please let me know the following:
    - Where do you store your image file?
    - Could you please verify the image (in rescue mode as well as in Windows) and let me know the result?
    - Also please see whether Acronis True Image creates corrupt backups to network drive in rescue mode as well as in Windows. You should create image booting from Acronis Bootable CD and then verify it both in rescue mode and in Windows.
    - Could you please also make the same test and create image to C: drive?

This information will be usefull to try to help you.

    Thank you.
