The FTC wants to ban those tough-to-cancel gym and cable subscriptions

    While they're at it they should do something about AT&T and others that when you call to cancel they charge you for the rest of the billing cycle even if you are on the first day of it.

    I am so glad they included gym memberships. They are impossible to cancel.

    AT&T is horrible. I contacted a live agent once just to ask a question and had to listen to a 15 minute sales blitz.

    They was near impossible to cancel in the 1980's in-person. Before cellphone and Internet.

    You practically had to have an attorney to keep them from locking you down with billings after you already cancelled and they agreed to it.

    Their commercial free music offering is worth it to me. Had it for years.

    The music seems to be pretty low bitrate but I'll call it worth what I pay for it as I've never paid full price.
