I checked this out years ago and TCActive! was part of the package, but maybe you just are asking if it's been updated? According to the website it has been.

I think "World-class User Interface" is a funny way to put it because, to my eyes anyway, the UI looks like something that's at least a decade old.

 

The gui is not the most important thing to me but i just browsed trough their forums and even though its somewhat active if someone has potential malware problems they refer to 3d party tools (combofix,no adittional help though) or even direct competitors (malwarebytes) wich doesnt inspire me to have much faith into their staff or product im afraid

I installed some days The Cleaner v 7 beta but I had to uninstall it because I got a very odd error (according to The Cleaner some services were not running) Unfortunately I didn't have the time to report this issue to the developer!

Ah another I'm the greatest comparison chart I had The Cleaner 2010 and it didn't find one dam thing!

I had the cleaner 2010 from GAOTD a few weeks back and I kept it but not for much more than a 5th or 6th opinion, the active guard was terrible on it, and it scanned rather fast but the program just didn't feel well made to me, not sure on detections but it didn't pick up a few things MBAM or SAS did, so.

 

wow look at the results, that is 1 big scam right there - 100% detection on a large testbed n SAS picked up 3% ^^

I can safely say nomather how legit they seem this is rogue for sure!

I know all GOTD keys for The Cleaner have been blacklisted, if you use that key even for The Cleaner 2011 the results will be "unregistered".

Not a problem for me, since I was forced to uninstall The Cleaner 2011 (I got errors even when uninstalling it and Gdata antivirus 2010 failed to inizialize, I perfomed a system restore and now everything goes fine).

 

as long some uses the giveaway version with no program updates...

the newest portable build put the log files under users account,
no more into the program folder - i hope they will fix it.

PS builds 3400 and later have problems with the taskbar sliding up/down (automode).
it runs no more smooth when TC is active, build 3124 is fine

thanx - and i found out that the IE connection was on "offline" without any hint.
what i missed is how MD was involved when ended.
(you need to know that i work 99.9% with firefox which has its own settings
and my special tools turn internet on - and leave it on, ie and its ieframe cannot
access web/forbidden)
