The Case Of The Disappearing Mouse driver

    This morning, mouse is dead. In another laptop, it works. In device manager, there is only the point-pad, mouse is not seen. Computer is Acer, mouse is Lexma. It has worked well for a year. HELP !!!! (Win 7-64)

    Buy yourself a Logitech USB mouse and install the driver. Have never had a problem with mine! Since mice are so inexpensive these days, buy yourself a quality brand mouse! :thumb:

    Does a system restore solve the problem?

    Have you tried plugging the mouse into a different usb port?
