Wondering how many other Windows 10 users (build 1709) are seeing this in the Windows Event Viewer logs? I see it almost hourly under the Application logs listed as Event ID 916..Information only... and listed as Classic. It has Svchost named before it and full information shows... The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000
Yes @stapp here also. Can't relate it to use of anything like a disk cleanup, it just happens. Must be unique to Fall CU, right? Since it's info only, it doesn't seem ominous, I just don't know what it means.
Me too I can see several names. Sometimes it is svchost, dllhost or taskhostw. #2 svchost (3568,G,0) = In this case 3568 is the Process ID. I have looked in my events and for example taskhostw.exe (PID: 1132) was started and right after that Event 916 can be seen with taskhostw (1132,G,0) But this event seems to be "harmless":
