The Bat on the fly encryption vs Outlook 2010

    Hey there, as Thunderbird just isn't professional enough anymore for my needs I am looking for a new mail program.

    So far I like Outlook quite a lot but "The Bat" seems to be very nice as well. What made me curious is the "on the fly encryption" of "The Bar".

    Can anyone explain me what this feature is exactly doing?
