Yes, they seem to have released a new version shortly after my post. The digital signature of v8.0.18 is December 25, 2017 (date of my post: December 24) But the changelog is still the same.

They don`t specify if it`s for a 'full' version to version deal or not....inclusive of all updates, which I personally think is implied by that wording.... and no upgrade route mentioned ?
It will be valid for all version of 8 and 9. For v10 you will need to pay again but the upgrade from earlier versions to a new version will be a little bit cheaper.
