I just checked my eset.eu threat center signature updates and found:

    Update 2884 - Win32/Adware.XPAntivirus (2)

Top Work ESET. XPAntivirusPro is now detected as a threat and terminated.

Seems my original post and the follow up work done has paid off.

I have also sent a PM to agoretsky with another Adware that needs to be stopped by ESET EAV/ESS.

Sorry I cannot submit these through the web site, I only have a trial version of EAV installed.

Thanks for the link! I better get uploading. Found 1 more spyware/adware that ESET EAV/ESS either does not detect or handle correctly.

Has ESET complained about all the remarks about their software? There are so many deleted posts nowadays in especially their forums...

That's totally beside the issue at hand. Read back: off topic posts removed.

Apart from that, how this board and forums are runned is not open for discussion.

    regards,

    paul
