Checking a friends HP laptop for the keylogger, trying to use findstr to test the file SynTP.sys for the string "ulScanCode". findstr.exe ulScanCode SynTP.sys error: cannot open file SynTP.sys I figure the file is in use so I was going to make a copy of it and test the copy but Windows search wont find the file. What do I need to do to access this file with findstr ?
HP have a support page with updated drivers to download for affected computers. You could check to see if the driver installed on the computer is older than the updated driver and then download and install the updated driver if needed. https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05827409
