    I dont see nothing strange, Kaspersky has one of the best HIPS
    Zone alarm, Comodo and Norton are from USA
    Outpost was initially a Firewall + HIPS so they have a good HIPS.

    Yes, but still I dont see nothing strange. It's already known that the first six products has a good HIPS, so it's quite normal that they score good on this kind of tests.

    Dr Web has always excelled at self defense. Not surprising.

    I'd say the current version is. If I had a complaint that wouldn't be it. My biggest gripe for the 2011 version would be the interface but that's another topic.

    i am sorry to say this but LoL what a joke this test is, only because kaspersky is from russia: russian, they made it nr1 , because here comes the funny thing:|>>> GDATA hmm, Gdata use their OWN engine and BitDefender Engine and F-Secure engine 3 engines totaly and IT STILL scored less then bitdefender =) haha what A JOKE, what a test? hm,
    I hope you guys understand how i mean? because this is CRAZY!!! Gdata can not score less then Bitdefender if it use bitdefender PLUS F-secure plus their own. LoL
    sorry but MY opinion to this Russian av test is pure ~Phrase removed~

    It is a self-defense test, so how many engines a product use won't influence their score. If I'm correct, the licensed engines are only about detection, so Gdata still has to develop their own self-defense.
    Also, Gdata uses 2 engines, the Avast! engine and Bitdefender engine. F-Secure does not have a own engine, it uses Bitdefender too.

    --> G data uses both avast & BitDefender engines
    --> F-Secure use BitDefender & Kaspersky engines
    for exam: Keniu use Kaspersky engine but their score in RAP test alway lower than KAV

    Self defense is dependent on the number of engines used, sure....just like how bullet proof my car is depends on if I have a V8 or V6 engine :D

    Best to get your facts straight before accusing ~ Snipped ~ on a test. This is the internet, geography doesn't matter anymore.
