Test results.............

    Why is ESS doing soooo badly on security tests such as AV-Test.org ?


    It just worry,s me a little when you see the security product your using down in like 15th place..lol.....Saying that,i WONT change from ESS;)

    Hi, I saw this result from AVTest and last from AV-Comparatives. I think Eset has got good place, because milions samples used in that tests don't come to user. So, Virusinfo's results are diferent, because they tests AV detection according to virustotal.com scans. From these files one part is real executable malware, next part are corrupted files = unexecutable => your computer won't be infected, next part can be jokes, potentially unwanted/unsafe applications and files with unknown packer... Eg. samples in AV-C's tests are really malware. ;)

    In the three years that I've been using Eset products I've never had a malware infection. They have blocked several from infecting my system. That's good enough for me.
