Is the program Image for Windows (latest version) compatible with unicode named files? I have an image I created a few months ago and wanted to get some files, but when I try to restore files using TBIMount I get an error only with the unicode files. The regular files are restored normally. I then get an error box pop-up box showing that the path is invalid for unicode named files (which is Chinese PRC simplified Chinese - Mandarin).

And now I am very concerned because I go into folders that are in Chinese (name) and there are no files there in the image file using the mounting program with IFW. Is it turning out that those files were not even backed up and stored in the backup image? Are they simply gone?

    Suggestions or comments, etc?

    TraumaDoc,

    Have you tried TBIView?

Whoops, my huge apologies. In my first message I SHOULD HAVE written that I had already tried TBIView ... that is where the problem existed. I forgot about TBIMount entirely (to try it). It seems TBIMount DOES work normally and my unicode folder and files (names) extract normally ... but they do not DO NOT extract or even view normally (contents, while names are displayed correctly) with TBIView

Thanks ... that small comment of yours solved my issues. :p
