Out of 3 models that I was presented to chose for next work laptop, I've choosen the biggest in terms of screen diameter. I hope it will have better ventilation as well.
How else are they going to con the masses into buying tech they don't need? There's always a gimmick they push, they come up with crap nobody really needs.
OMG, I think I'm in love with the newest Dell XPS 15, but why does it have to be so expensive, Dell is trying to be like Apple so it seems. I mean €1700 is a bit too much and apparently it's too loud and still gets hot. I think these thinner models will perhaps profit from the new Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU's, see second link. Perhaps it's time to dump Intel. https://www.theverge.com/22958468/dell-xps-15-2021-oled-review https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...vos-first-snapdragon-powered-thinkpad.444472/
I know prices are much lower in the USA. But Rasheed187 if I was spending ~$2,200 USD I'd be buying a ThinkPad.
I believe ThinkPads are more geared towards corporate users. I would be willing to pay €1000 for the Dell XPS 15. I've noticed that Lenovo gives you the most bang for the buck. You can get high end Lenovo Yoga laptops (13, 14 and 15 inch) for prices between €700 and €900, not bad at all. Usually you will get at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM. With either touch or face ID and perhaps even a glossy OLED screen.
