Tech support scams persist with increasingly crafty techniques

    Try Avast Tech support.......They told me because I had Mcafee once remnants were left on my machine and a even a clean install of windows 10 would not let avast Work unless they cleaned machine for 199 bucks..Had them down to 45 bucks before I told them to forget it....I'm no expert but common sense tells me a clean install would work which it did!!*puppy*

    Seriously? Sounds almost like some roque company, didn't expect this from Avast.
