Tech industry gangs up on European Commission, calls for cookie law to be scrapped

    Whilst the EC should normally do the opposite of what a tech industry suggests when it comes to privacy, in this instance I'd support it, because the cookie law has always been irritating and ineffective. I want far stronger privacy protections and consents, but not at this level.

    I fully support them, this was one of the worst and silliest decisions ever made by the EU, it's so freaking annoying. It should be scrapped ASAP.
