It counts for a lot, but so does: 1. not falling victim to phishing emails 2. not downloading and launching infected files 3. taking browser measures to prevent drive-bys 4. having a recent, reliable backup ready to restore if needed There's all the other obvious measures such as keeping O/S patched and programs especially browsers and plugins up to date, running as lua, etc, but all that gets mentioned repeatedly ad nauseum so no real need to go over it much in these forums.
Yep, on all points. That's why, I have so many images (Macrium Reflect). Takes only 5 minutes to image back to 'After Office Update's'... if need be. Clean Install, same thing...you have the get the correct ISO— they are not not the same. That's why, I have no games in the Start Menu. Everything up-to-date: Windows Pro x64 Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.267). Firefox Quantum x64 v68.0.1 Edge in 'Application Guard' Windows Sandbox. Robert
IMDb, guest, wat0114 and Lockdown. Purchased AG Solo v6.2.9.1113 (@ $67). Please, no diatribe. Robert
Because, Buddel. I took the time and initiative to have communications with AG's Corporate Liaison. Like Barb (BRN) did here at Wilder's...when "The World was Young." Robert
Thanks, Robert P.S. I will not post screen shots of AppGuard Solo v6.xx. Just not the right thing to do. Sorry.
In unison with OSArmor's Custom Block-Rules and a hardened Microsoft Defender, I think I am OK. I think so. Robert
I know, guest. You, like me, sometime punctuate with quotations. Now, I have to input all the exe's and dll's into User Space. Robert
Peter, I do not mind if replies are cross-pollutant. Up to you and other Admin's. I hope we stay on topic. Robert
