    Hello,

    1. Does SpyBot 1.4 install TeaTimer when installing Spybot?
    2. Do you have to turn Tea Timer on within SpyVo
    3. What process do you see if Tea Timer is on, when you do ctr+alt+del?
    4. I don't see an icon for TeaTimer in XP's system tray, should I?

With all MSAS real-time-protection ON! The following overlap/duplication of effort exsists:

    Tea Timer & MSAS

IE BHO, IE Explorer Bar, IE extensions, & IE toolbars.

    SpyBot & MSAS

Startup files, startup reg. files, IE home page, IE search Page

    After thoughts

    1. Is SpyBot running & I don't know it?
    2. If its not running then the overlaps/duplications don't exsist?
    3. Goal is to end all overlaps & duplication of efforts.

    Thanks
    rico

If tea timer is on then there should be a spybot icon on the task bar by the clock. You can check in spybot by opening in advanced mode, clicking on resident and looking in the right hand pane near the top to see if Resident tea timer is ticked.

If you have MSAS running real time, I think you should disable tea timer.

You have to select Tea timer during installation otherwise it is not activated.

But for those who may not know, Tea Timer can be easily activated later if you should choose not to activate it during install of Spybot. Just open Spybot click on the "Mode" tab at the top right and select "Advanced Mode". The select the "tools" tab, and select "Resident". Then put a check next to "Resident Tea timer". :)
