TDS-s alert

Hi again All

Can anyone throw any light on this pop-up.....when starting TDS-3 I get an alert 'tds-3 was blocked from terminating loader.exe'.

What is 'loader.exe'....is it good or bad?

Hi Frank,

Have you tried to boot into safe-mode and let TDS-3 do a full system scan?
Does the same thing happen? What does TDS-3 tell you in that case?

 

loader.exe is a virus which changes the victims homepage to coollllwebsearch.com and changes personalised settings on your computer

Are we talking about this same loader.exe?

Clean out then!

Thanks for your replies.

Have found out what this Loader.exe is....it is used to load the quick start tray icon for K-meleon browser.
Looking on the K-meleon forum, most seem to disable/remove it as:
1. K-meleon is fast enough without it.
2. It can be buggy

so, I gave TDS-3 permission to Nuke it....no more pop-up and icon has gone from my tray!
