I was wondering if anyone knows of any good software that fixes or sets up appropriate levels for TCP/IP. The reason i ask is i am constantly having time outs on the internet while using windows xp. Linux works perfect so after reading around the net a lot of places suggest the TCP/IP levels might be off. So i was hoping to try to fix it.

Or is there anything else anyone may suggest that is causing these constant time outs

    Thanks
    Anthony

You could try the Tweek Test at Broadband Reports.

Could be a number of other things that may cause something like this.
    Anything in your firewall logs?
Are you using a large hosts file?
Are you doing any content blocking - cookies, referers, java script, etc.?
