Tax Collectors Are Reading Your Facebook Page

    So what. The information is publicably accessable. It's not private. If your stupid enough to post stuff on Facebook that will give tax collectors ammo then you deserve to be caught. Same goes for those folk that find them selves unemployed as a result of there postings.

    While I agree that that the guy who brags about making $400,000 a year to impress the leg,
    has no reason to complain when the TaxMan asks why he declared $10,000 on his 1040,
    I thank this is much different from the guy who gets fired for listing his Religion as "Satanist",
    while employed by a Fundamentalist Christian owned/controlled firm.
    (This is a USA thing,it happens here.)

    Bottom line: Facebook is for those without the Stones to go out and do it the old fashioned way.

    Actually firing based on that would be illegal, unless he lied about his religion to get hired.

    Old fashioned as in knocking on doors? Why do that when there are plenty who reveal all on Facebook.

    Bottom line: If you have secrets don't air them on Facebook. :)
