    When I looked up task in Locate32 on my computer, it came up with taskman.exe. What is it? I tried to search Google but some say it's the task manager while others say it's spyware. Please help!

    Could it have something to do with why my task manager looks like this? It has no title bar or options.

    Hi.

    double click on the empty space at the top of the task manager window ;)

    it's normal :D

    PS... I'm more worried about your WWEB applications shown in the screenshot, as also about KBD.exe

    edit:::
    wweb32.exe = wordweb thesaurus
    kbd.exe = Logitech keyboard util.

    No worries there, except that they'll be slowing your 'puter down if they're running all the time

    TASKMAN.EXE
    Filename: Startup entry
    TASKMAN.EXE comes with a clean install of Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. TASKMAN.EXE is located in "C:\WINNT\". [Edit]
