When you right click ESS Beta from taskbar,
you see the pop up Display Alerts, Display
    Notifications on desktop, Display balloon
tips in taskbar, you cant just click to close
the pop up, and have to click Open Window
than close from the ESS Beta main GUI.

Edited to add suggestions: Think that the
    spelling should be consistent, example,
    Display Alerts, Display Notifications on
Desktop, Display Balloon Tips in Taskbar,
and that a close window option should
be added to the bottom of that popup.

Next if you create a firewall rule, with the
    Display Notifications on desktop checked
the rule you created than displays in a small
pop up above the ESS icon in taskbar and
cant be closed until you uncheck the popup
box under Display Notifications on desktop.

All in all nice beta running very stable,
this is on Vista Ultimate x 86.

    Regards,

    Wake

Edited to add: The weird spelling I get on
that pop up box is caused by zoom feature
of a Microsoft Intellipoint keyboard, and the
hide window option at the bottom of that
pop up only comes up random.

Yeah, i saw that bug but i use task bar icon right click very seldom.

I think the notification (on the picture) is annoying too a lil'...
I don't like that gap between notification and system tray :cautious:

    Yes same here,

Also in that pop up box heres what I mean by the
random appearance of the Hide window, half of
the time that option doesnt appear in the popup.
