I upgraded to Home 2009. All good. However - each day there is a Task failure like this:

1 Error 7/31/2009 2:37:05 AM No such script "16AC1C14-1C99-4C3D-81AE-CB574C871CBC"
2 Warning 7/31/2009 2:37:05 AM Failed to process pair script:16AC1C14-1C99-4C3D-81AE-CB574C871CBC
3 Error 7/31/2009 2:37:05 AM Operation has completed with errors.

This script is no where to be found - not in scheduled or unscheduled. It must be a carry over from prior version. I want it GONE so I dont get a "red" indication every day. Where do I go to clean this up....Thx

I do not do scheduled tasks at all, but I think I read somewhere that you have to delete tasks from a previous version and make them over for the new version. I don't know where the tasks are kept.

Hello JonBattle,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image Home 2009

There are two possible causes:

• You are trying to run an Acronis True Image task under a Windows user account different from the one the task was created;
• The original task script (*.tis) was removed from the Scripts folder:

Acronis True Image Home
Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Acronis True Image Server for Windows, Acronis True Image Workstation, Acronis True Image Enterprise Server
Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImage\Scripts

Although the task script is removed from the Scripts folder, it is still registered in Acronis Scheduler. Every time the scheduled task starts, Acronis Scheduler checks all the registered task scripts and gives the error message if any of the scripts are not found in the Scripts folder.

If the task exists, try running it under the same Windows user account under which it was created.
If the task is removed, you can unregister it from Acronis Scheduler to get rid of the error entries.

Unregistering all tasks from Acronis Scheduler
1. Download and extract the following archive:
o https://www.acronis.com/r/support/en/kb/1054/script_fix.zip

2. Run the script_fix.vbs file.
(!) This will remove all scheduled tasks.

Unregistering separate tasks from Acronis Scheduler
1. Open the operation log of Acronis True Image;
(!) To view the operation log, in the main window of the program select Tasks and Log in Acronis True Image Home 2009 or Show Log in any other version of Acronis True Image.
2. Find the respective error entry and note the name of the mentioned script. For example:
Error 1 108 (0X1006C) 10/29/2008 12:09:02 No such script "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4"
3. Download Acronis Scheduler Manager from http://download.acronis.com/support/schedmgr.exe
4. Run the schedmgr.exe file and issue the following command:
get list
5. In the list of displayed tasks, note the script that has the same name as the one that produces error entries in the log. For example:
1-3 ~*TrueImageNotify* /dummy / script: "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4" /uuid: "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4"
6. Issue the following commands:

task [Script Name]
task delete

For example:

task 90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4
task delete

If there is more than one task that produce error entries, repeat the procedure for each of them separately.

Best regards,

I have the same problem with previously deleted tasks resulting in "No such script "90F1BFEE-7B23-4E67-96EE-173F00AE9AB4" failure messages. I Downloaded Schedmgr.Exe. Running it yields a list of scripts, but when I try to delete one that I am getting an error log message on, I get the following:

inst=yes start=yes loc task=0-0 > task 74BDFCAE-FFD6-4DAC-B577-5AC4B4E7D352
inst=yes start=yes loc task=1-74 > task delete
Error: 15000 (0x3A9:cool: - Task or wait item not found

Seems like it wants the task number rather than the task ID -
command entry should be something like:

get list
task 1-4
task delete

This seems to work

Also tried to get script_fix from your posted link and that results in a "Page Not found" message.
