That firewall icon looks exactly like the one used by Ashampoo pro.

Should be Filseclab as firewall and Trend Micro as antivirus

mich.........How did you get the screen shots? Did you purchase System Suite 7? I went to their site, but couldn't find a trial version. They do offer trials for their other products, but they are not fully functional, and they don't say how long the trial periods last. I'm not going to pay $60 for something I can't try first.

Hi,folks: V-COM now offers US$ 49.95 /key for up to 3 PCs. And a 60 days refund policy. I was given a key few days ago, and have it installed on one of boxes. So far so good, no annoying hiccups just yet. The protection portion is a kind of OEM by other vendors, and those companies do have valid reputations to fall back on to. No worries there. The mantenance part is their own crops, plenty of it, and functions well, although not at par w/ TuneUp utilitities 2007. For those folks who are seeking an alternative, with budget, quality in optimal balance, this baby may be your better choice. Look, the price(one for three), the quality, the refund policy and the combo(security plus utilities), this deal can not go wrong, IMO. Worth trying.:)

its good actually, it has been mentioned a few times ... and i know a few people who have used it for yearssssssss.

i went down the trend-line (or what i call..the proper way) instead of using a merged product, but it is good.

i dont really know of/about the firewall, but the other tools in the suite work well too.

They used to be a version or 2 behind in their rebadge of PC-cillin. Don't know if that's still the case though.

I decided to download the Filseclab firewall. It is lightweight and passes the GRC true stealth test. It is not supposed to be very good with leak tests but since I have SSM I kinda have that covered. The firewall seems pretty basic. But being free, it serves its purpose well enough.

as i said, i have tried it and its good software.....

its like, tune-up utilies with trend micro AV and a firewall (dont know the firewall so cant really judge it myself)

a nice gui, and it is good software

BTW: leaktests are over-rated, as is HIPS.
