    Hi,

While looking around the control center i noticed this scheduled task...what exactly does it do? If i removed it is there any harm done? i.e. will AMON still monitor files even before the control center icon shows up in the taskbar? Because i noticed when i reboot into vista the first couple mins the disk goes nuts. The only thing that starts up is nod32, no other programs atm. I read it could be vista's indexing program so i'm not entirely sure, but it wasn't so disk-intensive before i installed nod32.

It's not recommended to remove it unless it reports a piece of adware/spyware that you intend to use. It checks all files run at startup with the lowest priority so if there's something bad that starts automatically NOD32 will alert you.
