    Hello,

is it necessary for the taget machines to have the same chipset architecture as the source one (i.e. via, ali, intel - north/southbridge etc.)?

If no, does SnapDeploy alter these components according to the taget while deploying?

I found that it is usually not possible to prepare (say a VIA-Mainbord) with sysprep, take a TrueImage-Shot, and put it on a Intel-chipset machine, even when they are both APIC-PCs or Std-PCs.

If the two machine use different ATA-Drivers, is it possible to replace it by a Stadard MS-IDE driver on the source machine before taking a snapshot?

    Thank you in advance, Frank
