System Explorer 3.0 has been released:

    http://systemexplorer.net/

This is a task manager on steroids and what is especially notable about v3 is dramatically faster load time. It's also has fairly low impact on the CPU unlike some other process manager apps. Excellent freeware.

If i'm not mistaking you can intergrate easily yourself a portable application in their platform even if it is not a paf.exe. And Iron is not in the same category with System Explorer because it's not stealthy portable

My feeling is that they shouldn't bother with true portable apps, it's unnecessary. That's all

    Absolutely agree! ;)

Version 3.0 added again tabs; the interface'appearance/design improved noticeably - and practical. Very good work AGAIN!

Noticed that was "System Additional Info" panel is missing now; useful info there that seems will be replaced in the future.

Sneaky!!! Bad boy System Explorer, i reverted back to previous version. And i liked the new Chrome alike, multi-tab interface.

Where does driveragent.exe get dropped? I don't see it in the portable version. (There is a green Driver Scan button on the interface but I would never use it!)

@ Dermot7, "unchecking the drivers scanner option doesn't save the change" in actual version 3.0 build 3710. Will be fixed in version 3.0 build 3712. ;)

Tried green Driver Scan button without annoyances. Since I don't use it I'll disable the plugin (like I do with 'Uninstallers' plugin e.g.).
