    Hi ryan0012,

Before you start, please unzip hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
These easily get lost in a Temp folder.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Reg32] C:\WINDOWS\reg32.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Online Service] C:\WINDOWS\msreg.exe

    O16 - DPF: {73F0FD85-BD47-4A95-86D1-DE38860462C1} (PremiumHTML Class) - file://C:\IberoDialerHTML.cab

    Download, unzip and run:
    http://www.computercops.biz/zx/phoenix22/cws.zip
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Please read additional removal instructions for Backdoor.Zinx here:

    Pieter-
For some reason, those files you noticed did come up on my log sheet. I've since run the scan and fixed it again. Problem solved. Is that i have to do. I'm okay for now. THanks again for your help.

Keep an eye on them. If they don't return, you're clean.
