"RootkitRevealer is an advanced root kit detection utility. It runs on Windows NT4 and higher and its output lists Registry and file system API discrepancies that may indicate the presence of a user-mode or kernel-mode rootkit. RootkitRevealer successfully detects all rootkits published at www.rootkit.com, including AFX, Vanquish and HackerDefender..."

  2. As I said in another thread, the program is a good concept, but documentation is horrible. It tells you nothing about what to do if it finds anything. I had 78 items either "access denied" or "Hidden from Windows API". The program tells you nothing about what to or how to make heads or tails from the scan. Needs a lot of work to be really useful.
