Syntax error in manifest or policy file

    I'm seeing this error on the latest build of ESET AV (4.0.467) - Server 2003 x86.

    Syntax error in manifest or policy file "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC.MANIFEST" on line 5.

    Possibly to do with that ATL update Microsoft pushed out a while back?

    Thanks for the heads up about this issue. I have not seen this error before, but now I know what will solve it if I do run into it.

    Is there anything else that could be causing this or fix it? I am having this same issue. I currently do not have Visual C++ installed on my production server on which this is occurring and have no desire to install it.
