    The Acronis SZ does show up in WinXP Disk Management as Acronis SZ,
    5.26GB FAT32, Healthy, Unknown but is un-usable by ATI.

    Background:
    I have both Acronis Disk Director (ADD)and Acronis True Image (ATI) installed.
    I un-installed both ADD and ATI to do some system testing (used the posted
    uninstall procedure in this forum).
    I then re-installed both ADD and ATI.
    I have tried several times, 5 at least, to get the secure zone setup. Each
    time it will hang on trying to syncronize with OS.
    I have also tried (at least 5 times) to re-create the secure zone into
    different locations on both HDs, no good. Same errors.

    My Disk layout:
    Disk 1 SATA - 200GB
    Partitions = C, D, E, F (Active, Logical, Logical, Logical)
    Disk 2 SATA - 160GB
    Extended Partitions = J, K,L, M (Logical, Logical, Logical, Logical)

    Running Windows XP (Full version, not the Upgrade)
    Running Acronis True Image Version 7, Build 613

    Ilya,

    Thank you. That seems to have fixed it.
