I have a Sony laptop. I bought an external hard drive that is the same as the one in the laptop. I then cloned the external drive so it is an exact copy of the laptop drive.
Now my question is how can I keep the two drives syscronized so I always have a perfect clone ready to replace the original in the case of a failure?
BTW the drive has 3 partitions.

    Hello Custom83,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

The only way to keep drives synchronized in the way you describe is to clone the old one to the new one manually on regular basis. It would be much better if you schedule the image creation to your external drive. In this case you will need less space and you may keep several states of the same disk on the external drive.

    Thank you.
