Sympton of Hardware Failing?

    Hi,

    We have been using WatchGuard Firebox 700 for about 4 years and lately (intermittent) we are facing loss of connections to Internet. Users are unable to send out emails or access the Internet when this happens.

    We need to switch off and on the firewall before the connection is back and this gets worst when we setup VPN with our China Plants. It practically happen daily. Now, we are doing daily reset of the firewall every morning to prevent loss of connections.

    Can anyone advice what does this shows? Is this a sign of hardware failing?

    I take it you are useing a firewall appliance as opposed to a software firewall?, if so I would have it checked out.It sounds as if it is slowly dying.:doubt:
