Symantec Co 10 or McAfee VSE 8.0i?

Which one has better detection rates? Wich one is lighter?

 

I just installed McAfee VSE 8.0i and it destroyd my computer...
Not saying that it will do that on every computer but there are some serious things to be fixed before i'm gonna try to use a mcafee application again

I think McAfee got better protection but i hate mcafee now

 

In my experiences McAfee VSE 8.0i has better detection, and is fairly light. SAV Corp 10 is ok, it catches most of the malware thrown at it also, but for me it was a little bloated.

I am curious how McAfee VSE 8 destroyed your computer?

 

I´ve used McAfee VSE 8.0i and for me, it´s the best AV out there...

 

There is a review of these in the latest issue of Maximum PC. You would be surprised how poorly both of these (McAfee and Symantec)do in that review.

 

rele? i didnt know Maximum PC reviewed corporate AV. i dont have the latest issue but i know that they did review AVG. neways i would go with mcafee vse for detection rates and ive read that savce 10 has a few bugs and its slower than 9.
