When playing online games-Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, EA recommend switching off your AV.
    Is this safe to do?

    Thanks...

I wouldn't, never found the need to when playing games; especially in a LAN environment, there are some nasties floating about from your mates  and never done so online, there is absolutely no need with NOD32, you won't see a difference and you will remain protected.

    Cheers :D

Since using NOD32 a few years ago...it's the first antivirus that I've used that I found I didn't need to disable while playing. Doesn't slow down your rig like others do.
