SWB won't update after installing Avast

Hi all. After installing Avast, my SpywareBlaster will not update.

The updates seem to come in little packets rather than one whole.

The first, small update, 'sbversion4.txt' seems to come in OK, it says '536b of 536 bytes copied.

It then moves on to the next, 'RS1-1008.dtb' Nothing happens, then after roughly 30 seconds, it displays an error message, code 'U005'.

A quick google search seems to reveal it is something to do with Avast, and someone from Javacool recommended updating with Avast turned off. It seems to have worked for some with the problem, but not for me.

I have tried an uninstall/reinstall with your latest version, and it now shows my database loaded 25/02/2009

My PC has never been cleaner!, so I don't think it's that.

I connect to http://www.spywareblaster.net/ with the redirect no problem.

I have been in touch with Avast Tech...they say No problems at their end, and there should definitely be no interference between SWB & Avast.

Also, what ISP do you currently use?
