Interesting, but I don't get what purpose the "SAS Core Service" have in the free version, and it still needs to be running for right-click scan to appear.

Anyhow, those are minor issues, but I wonder why the developer won't comment on the service (or at least pm)..

Any pressing need to update to this release prior to 5.0?

I hope that the realtime has improved recently. The last time I use this on an XP system, well -- does regret sound familiar? Many still regard Malwarebytes as an on demand scanner with questionable realtime protection. But I like MBAM.

Not sure, but probably is to right-click scanner and updates services/schedules work in LUA without the need to elevate. The same is for A-squared, avira and avast installed as ondemand scanners if I'm not wrong.
Malwarebytes not have this service, but when you wanna scan something or update, it prompt you for ADM privileges.

I don't have a PM from you regarding the core service. The core service for 32 bit will come into play with the upcoming 5.0 version. It is used in the 64-bit release now.

I've tried both and performance-wise I chose to keep SAS realtime. It uses less resources and I don't notice any impact at all.

Is the lifetime license also for version 5 and other future versions?
