Thank you :) The window is fully resizable as well. We have new real-time, new scheduler, new update scheduler, new faster quarantine, faster scanning, smaller definitions (faster downloading) and many more improvements. :)

Sounds very nice. Hopefully you can accomplish everything while keeping the program lightweight to use.

Well normally, I worry about change, SAS is a superb product though, I can't praise it enough. The new interface looks great. I've always had a lot of faith in SAS.

Can you say more about this? I've used SAS in malware cleanups with good results. The only problem I have with it is the "Quick Scan" isn't. I usually use MBAM first because the Quick Scan is faster, but SAS sometimes finds things MBAM doesn't plus it has the Repair feature (for undoing various problems such as being unable to display the task manager).

    Re: SUPERAntiSpyware 5.0

MRG tests on a small set of samples, it's not a comprehensive test - MRG does a great job but there is only so much they can test - meaning they test against a set of samples - we may not get all of those samples, but we get many of the samples that others miss - being a "testing facility" is very difficult - meaning the only way to really test an application is to test it over a long period of time against infections on actual computers, not just "samples". MRG is also very helpful to companies such as ours - they work WITH us to help protect the users.

As for our Quick Scan - it will be much faster in 5.0 - BUT - think of it this way - if you were having your heart operated on, would you want someone who just does a "fast job" but doesn't fix the problem, or would you want someone who took the time to do the job right? That's one thing that I have never understood about end users and scanning time - do you want the infection removed, or simply a fast scan time? What does a fast scan time really get you when you are talking the difference of minutes?

We also have our Critical Point Scan for Professional users - this will do a VERY quick check of your system.

We will also be expanding our repairs in later releases after the initial 5.0 release.
