    After seeing how they handled the Sunbelt Kerio Firewall product, including lack of updates and support and generally no concern for the product or customer at all, I'd not buy any other product of theirs... Just my impressions from the past year or so...

    I tend to somewhat agree.....Given the state of the SKPF I think VIPRE may not be so good either as viruses are a field which Sunbelt does not currently specialize in, just as they didn't specialize in firewall technology when they bought KPF.....

    But anyway, I'm ready to give them a fair chance, if they come out with a nice product then its quite good for them :)

    I've always liked CounterSpy, so I'm looking forward to this. :cool:

    Hopefully the load of that bad boy is less than CS2!
    So unless they made some drastic improvement to the VIPRE engine.....
    This is just a FYI, (I also understand that this is apples to granny smith apples)
    I know that CS 2 killed every machine I tried it on;
    AthlonXP 1100 512MB 133- Barely usable :p <-- Understandable
    AthlonXP 2000 1GB 400 - Noticable slowdown <--- Maybe understandable
    Petnium M 1700 1GB 333 - Noticable slowdown <--- Maybe understandable
    Athlon 64 X2 4200 2GB 667- Noticable slowdown <--- o_O Are you serious!

    So IMO they need to keep this light! :)
