    Thanks. Sumatra autoupdate feature didn't work here (not even notified me of the new version). Using 1.3 now.

    Had to uninstall. Thing kept freezing up on me when I tried to open a PDF. :(

    Unnecessary bloat - and there are many such examples in the PortableApps portfolio. I wonder why?

    At least one exception to the quoted comment is the PortableApps.com offering of LibreOffice. But we're getting off-topic, aren't we? :eek:

    Pinga, if you look at the link I provided:
    Those of us who use the PA suite, welcome the fact that Sumatra PDF is done in a PA format, so it's not unnecessary bloat, it's a needed requirement... if one wants the PA platform's integrated features to work.

    Regarding my use of "courtesy of" whenever I post a PA software update, the term means "generosity" due to the fact that the PA developers are doing this work for free. Just giving credit, where credit is due.
