I've been using the free QSIZ QuickSet Internet Zone http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/downloads-free-software.htm for years. Initially on 98SE, also XP, and it's working just fine on Vista.

Super lightweight little App with no installer. It doesn't have the Flash block in it, but that's included within SpywareBlaster which i've also been using for about the same time.

Good to see webster posting with another solution i wasn't aware of until now.

Web Control is one of the feature in OPF Pro that I can individually select on a given web site. See the picture!

jmonge, did you try Proxomitron with the latest sidki config file? It should do what you mentioned. IMHO it is really briliant app.

    Jmonge,

Open DefenseWall, click advanced options, make sure the last option (protect plug-ins etc) is selected and you are done.

With DW they can run, but do no harm. Now you also prevent adding items by chosing this option.

    Cheers

    Kees

I'll give you link later because I am on BlackBerry now.
Btw. What Kees mentioned it's true, but you can use P. in your daily surf over the Internet as I do... without ads, banners, pop-ups and others irritating things.

    Later...
