This just started happening for me on the latest stable...

If I type a search term into the Omnibox, say, "chrome", I'll get a yellow dropdown bar asking "Did you mean to go to http://chrome?". Well, no, I didn't.

When clicked on, it takes me to a ClearCloud (powered by google) search page as the domain doesn't exist. That makes sense, of course, as I'm using ClearCLoud and the domain, indeed, does not exist.

So, why am I getting the dropdown in the first place? It doesn't happen with all terms, but most. And only single word terms.

    Strange...

Go to Options --> Under the Hood --> Uncheck option "Use a prediction service to help complete seaches and URLs typed in the address bar"

Now you will not get any such suggestion.

    Thanks.

That seems to have cured it for now.

I came across a few things I didn't find in my search last night, and it appears it may be a DNS issue. I do use ClearCloud, so I'm wondering, now, if they've changed something in the last few days. This wasn't an issue before.
