TI Home, Ver. 9.0, Build 3567.
While testing the Recovery CD and the BartPE CD I, noticed this strange time stamping.
Image #8 was created with the Recovery CD shortly after image #7.
Image #10 was created with the BartCD\PlugIn at 11:55AM.
All the others were created from within Windows and their date/time stamps are correct.
Is this normal? I’ve only used recovery media to restore; this is the first time I’ve created images.

    Hi TheWeaz,

The Linux based rescue CD uses Central Pacific Time (GMT -10) for time stamping whilst the BartPE disk, being Windows based, uses local time. I'm guessing your local time is Eastern Time (GMT -5), hence the 5 hour difference.

    Regards

OK, I guess that makes sense (of some sort). o_O
I was going to boot-with-Bart and check the time from a command prompt, but ran outta time.
Central Daylight Savings Something or other ;)

Wait … that can’t be right … can it?
Image #10 was Barted, shouldn’t that have been the actual time – 11:54?

You're right, it's not :p. I was working from memory about a thread I started last July when I should have carried out a search first .

Anyway, sorry for the confusion, the correct info is contained in this previous thread titled <Bug in True Image Rescue Mode?> i.e. Acronis rescue CD = GMT whilst BartPE = GMT + your local Time Zone (GMT-5hrs).

    Regards

muah hahaha! I honestly think that this may be the first time I've seen Menorcaman make a mistake in the year or two he's been around here - perhaps this should be made a sticky for posterity and whatnot

Ah just kiddin' I guess we can let it slip with the record he has

    Hi Detox,

When I saw your post here, I assumed you were deleting the whole thread because Menorcaman made a mistake. You can't let that sort of sacrilege remain visible to the casual reader.

    Hi guys,

Well, it was 01:25 AM in the morning here when I made that post but I guess that's no excuse  :p :D.

It's definitely not my first mistake but I'll try not to make a habit of it!!!

    Yours Aye

I’m not sure if I should be proud of my small roll in this, or utterly ashamed.

Menorcaman will probably thank you in a PM that his hat now fits a little more comfortably. He has loosened mine a couple of sizes in the past. :D

"Well, it was 01:25 AM in the morning here ..."

    Was that BartPE time?

And there was me beginning to think I probably just needed a haircut!! However, thanks to TheWeaz, it can now wait a further week or two :D.

Yep, GMT + 1hr summer time + 1hr Spanish Time Zone. Did I say Spanish time ... that can't be right ... that would make it mañana, mañana wouldn't it? :D ;).

    Regards
