Stop during updating AVG-AS

    I just installed AVG-AS 7.5 and I'm trying to update for the first time, but every time I try updating the Current Status stops at "Downloading signatures\2139.dat, receive data...". The green progress bar completely fills up, and on the right it says 35/19 KB. The process clearly isn't done at that point, because there's still the option to cancel the update under Manual update. Does anyone know a way to fix it? I've tried turning off Norton Internet Security as well as the Windows firewall (the only one I have installed), but neither action has helped.
