After downloading .8 and having all the problems I removed NOD then down loaded 0000.6. The only thing now is that I have two programs that don't want to end when the computer is shut down. It started right after the fiasco with 0000.8. Other than that everything seems fine.

    Hi WilliamP,
would you please specify what programs now don't shut down properly?

One is devldr32.exe and the other is hplamp.exe. I know that the devldr is the Sound Blaster card . I ran the Sound Blaster diagnostis program and said everything was ok.

The only program that consistantly doesn't want to respond at shut down is [devldr ] . Could it be a problem with windows ?

I assume it must have been a coincidence that the problem started to appear after you'd reverted to version 2.000.6. What happens if you stop AMON and shut down the computer? (don't forget to turn it on then)

I haven't tried disabling AMON before shut down . I did try excluding those two files and of course that didn't work.
